Today in Hungary, Fernando Alonso won pole, ahead of Lewis Hamilton. The real drama occurred in the pits, however, as during the last round of tire stops prior to the final run for pole, Alonso stayed in the pits for too long ahead of Lewis. This meant that Lewis was unable to get out in time to put in a final qualifying lap, while Alonso was able to put down a flyer and take pole. If anyone needed proof that Lewis is getting under the Spaniard's skin, we have it now. Alonso lamely told the media that the team told him to hold up, while Lewis professed innocent bewilderment. Ron Dennis, though, was spitting bullets and Alonso probably got quite the tongue lashing in the McLaren Corporate Branding Centre. Assuming the stewards don't push Alonso down the grid, is the first corner tomorrow going to be reminiscent of Suzuka in 1990?
